Doonaveeragh Balou “Gary”

Doonaveeragh Balou “Gary” is a 2015 Irish Sport Horse gelding by Wild Ballou Bill out of Creevagh Grey Rebel. Bred by Ivan Gardiner, Gary is piloted by Kelly Soleau-Millar. Jonathon Millar of Millar Brooke South had a successful run in the 7-year-old Jumper division throughout 2022 taking several podium finishes throughout the summer. In 2023, Gary took fourth-place overall in the USHJA Young Jumper Championships in the 8-year-old division with Kelly Soleau-Millar.

Owned by QBS Equestrian LLC, Gary shows all the makings of being a future Grand Prix mount. In 2024, he started competing in FEI, and has taken several ribbons at the 1.45m level.

Gary is brave and has the scope to match, combined with his natural foot speed this grand prix prospect has a bright future ahead of him and is ready for his next partner to take him there.
